The TEAM

ABOUT US..

Under the leadership of Prof. Dr phil. Barbara Wedler, the new company health management (BGM) team began its work at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences in March 2023.

Ms Anne Schreiber (Dipl. Betriebswirtin) is the most important link in the CHM team due to her experience and qualifications as well as her long-standing connection with the HSMW. She is responsible for the area of company medicine and is in charge of company integration management (BEM).

Ms Lisa-Marie Schreiber (B.Sc. Prevention, Rehabilitation and Fitness Sports) completes the CHM team with the areas of office management, networking, ergonomics in the workplace and the coordination of existing projects and offers.

In future, a university-wide health management system (HGM) is to be established. Ms Linda Altermann (B.A. Social Work), who is responsible for the development of the Student Health Management (SGM) at the HSMW, is making a significant contribution to this process.

Our Vision

University Health Management (HGM)

Together with many important stakeholders at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences and our cooperation partner, AOK PLUS, we have developed a forward-looking vision for health management at HSMW. We would like to present it to you here:

We, the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida, view the organisation as a whole. The HSMW is a living environment that we help to shape through university health management (HGM) in such a way that health-promoting conditions are offered to all member groups. In doing so, we focus on the processes and structures of the organisation as well as on the individual.

We utilise and intensify the innovative, flexible, approachable and creative atmosphere at the HSMW in accordance with the university development plan. We are therefore committed to shaping and expanding a healthy team culture and leadership development. We promote respectful and trusting cooperation between all areas and at all levels. The university also works towards achieving a good work-life balance.

The HSMW makes health-related concerns visible and discussable in order to act in a needs-orientated manner. We work transparently and involve all member groups. We support the member groups in recognising, using and developing health resources.

With this vision, HSMW contributes to the quality of life, satisfaction and well-being of all member groups. The HGM thus underpins the following current goals of the HSMW in particular: high-quality teaching and research, digitalisation, equality, inclusion, external and internal profile building and a family-friendly focus.
